3 Points:

1) Not many people browse the forum on the weekends, they are too busy driving their BMW's.. They use work time to browse.

2) Try posting this in the 3 Series forum & not the 5 Series forum :)

3) Try waiting longer than 1 hour before asking your question again.. wait like a day or 2 for guys to see it & comment

Hope this helps..

Look in the 3 series forum at "things to look for" its very help full and helped me, take the vin number and hot foot off to the agents and ask them for a print out of the cars history, then you can see what has been replaced, hope this helps

Guess it would be the same things as for any e46 3 series. Control arm bushes always something to look out for. Make sure the Full Service History is accurate. And let us know for what price the car is going for. Could help because the 325ci is a very, well wouldn't say overpriced, but they hold their value better for some reason than other 3 series models. And some sellers try to take advantage of this. If its a automatic, check if the gearbox was ever replaced or gave problems. Other than that, take it for a test drive and prepare to fall in love with it.

In general the suspension bits like the control arm bushes and control arms, also check for obvious signs of coolant leakage, the coolant systems on these BMW's use a lot of plastic bits that get brittle with age.
If its a manual check for shudder on the clutch, if it an auto check if it shits smoothly and into all the gears.
Check up on the service history at the dealers. Also PM coisman on this forum with the info of the car and he can check it out for you on ENATIS.

And then there is all the regular things like checking the bodywork and trim for damage or excessive wear.

Thanks Guys! Thanks for alerting me about being on the incorrect forum. The car is selling for R119 000. It has a manual box with 132 000km.
