1. All ti's were left hand drive,
2. No BMW's of that era came out with leather, so it is either vinyl or has been recovered,
3. Ditto for 15" mags.

Just some useful info for any potential buyers.

I know this is nitpicking but BMW did have a option for leather seats on the 02, although it was hideously expensive and only after 73 afaik. Italian cars a could also be spec'd with leather but that was done by dealerships.

I have only ever seen 1 car that claimed to have original BMW leather, it looked like leather of the right era so it might have been, but there's no way to know for sure.

This car though, has been redone for sure.

I hear the orange car at Hamptons is a tii and not a ti. Tii's were available in RHD and LHD. Ti's were LHD only.

This the one here?

http://www.automart.co.za/cars/for-sale/bmw-vintage-2002-tii-1973-id-481851

R150k is steep but it looks like a minter and that's about how much it would cost in the UK as well.
This car does look clean, but not even one comment about what has been done to restore the car. I'm a bit skeptical.

Hello and a good day,

I am from Germany, my name is Manni.
Sorry for my English, is the google translator to blame.:bangdesk:

My way with BMW 1602,1802,320 E 21, 320 E21, 323i E 30, 320i Cabrio
and now 2002tii, but my wife says no,no,no.:yuck:

After a search on google I found your forum. Very nice, I like it.

My question, does anyone interested in buying my BMW 2002tii, LHD, SR 1974, color is yellow, black interior, L - equipment, full history, original condition as delivered, not verbastelt, 1 Ower before, 218.500 km?

If so, please contact [email protected]
I will send details and pictures.

Best regards, Manni

Hello Manni.

Thank you for your post! Your car looks very nice! There aren't many 2002tiis in South Africa so I am sure some people might be interested, but importing laws are strict. You would have to be dedicated to import a car.

If you want you can post your add in www.gumtree.co.za, many people watch that site for cars.

Good luck with the sale of your car.

Regards
Jacques
