Welcome!!!
Which model are you getting?

Fanks!

Eyeballing a 320d lux line atm.
I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to BMW's so to say I have plenty of questions is an understatement.

 nice!!!

To be honest I'm currently driving a Hyundai Sonata and even though I enjoy her, the fuel economy on the thing is killing me slowly.

Normal town driving I'm averaging 11.7L - 13L/100km and then I'm still driving her like a granny. :yuck:

On a 320d you should expect half those figures :)
on a 320i you should expect 65% or so of that :)
Not forgetting "Sheer driving pleasure"

Yeah look when the sales guy brought the car to my place of employment for me to test drive I reset the consumption computer and actually drove car to my house in "Eco Pro" mode to compare the consumption figures.

When I stopped outside my place the average economy was sitting on 5.5L/100km and I was like: :argh: :praise:

Now I just need to justify the R800 p/m repayment increase to the wife...:yuck:

True that but then I'd be breaking about even instead of saving...decisions decisions.

Then again with the fuel price increases we've had (and those still to come) the savings will become even more evident.
