1999 BMW R1100S Leaking fuel above injector

Hi my friend has a 1999 BMW R1100S and its leaking fuel badly. Before he asked me for some help, he decided to use Pratleys or some rubbish on the joint... :flyfun:

He asked the stealers what he needs to get replaced and they said the entire fuel harness needs to be replaced? I have my doubts as it just looks like an L-bend or a connection to the injector...

Please could you offer some jedi wisdom on what may need to be replaced. The bike has a rough idle and struggles to hit 200kph on the private track...

Fuel harness or rail ?

Take out the fuel rail and ask an engineering shop to take a look at it, these units can easily be fixed even if they are alloy.....

@kabal Thanks for the links! I totally forgot about RealOEM.com... The L-bend sits right behind/connected to number 10 (Spring clip) and is connected to the fuel hose.
