1997 E36 323i Fuel Gauge

Hi guys.

My fuel gauge is all over the place. one moment empty and the next full,

Any suggestions, should I just replace the float?

I replaced the whole pump

It was around 700 from autozone

My E36 did the same with fuel and heat gauge. was one small fuse at fault.Although the needles didnt move at all.

Cool thanks guys. Will check fuses in the morning. If not will just go buy a new pump
