Does anyone know who or where I get my hands on a 1985 M3 and how much they want for it?

More money then will fit in your hands I can assure you.

We never got the E30 M3, but there were a few privately imported, but I think your looking at 250k or something daft.

You best bet would be to try and import one from another RHD using country. In terms of price I would expect you would have to kill for it, kill the owner to get.

Edit: Here in SA you would have more luck to look for the e30 325i evo or the 333i, for the former I have seen prices go as high as R100k.
Edit2: The price leonard gave seems about right prices seem to range from about R150k to over R400k ('89 evo II)

There was one being sold in the UK recently that was converted to right hand drive. It was going for R200k and was relatively clean with less than 120k km. Got to keep searching and make sure it can be brought in.

For the life of me i dont know why freaking e30's are still so expensive???

Correct me if im worng the e30 M3 was only produced in Left hand drive, went to London a few years ago and even though they have RHD cars all the e30 M3's i saw was LHD i think thats the main reason S.A never got them they were only produced in LHD.

If you can find one that's not been molested, pimped, lowered, resprayed, riced, raced, etc, which unfortunately 99.9% of them are ...

Sadly, the E36 M3 coupe's are going the same route :cursin:

It always saddens me when I see people that have ruined their e30's, sadly that is the case with most e30's.

The e30 M3 is probably the best M3 made and one of the best sedans ever made.

It will always fetch a high price.
