Got this mail from BM, thought some fanatics that side might be interested

'BMW has a long and proud history of producing innovative models that fulfill the demands of a generation. Menlyn Auto is fortunate to have a unique vehicle on display in our showroom ‑ a 1957 BMW Isseta 300. A little over 160 000 were produced between 1957 and 1962. These 4‑speed manual‑shifting microcars were initially built to provide reliable transport in the wake of the Second World War. Today, they are highly valued and sought after collector’s items.

We invite you to visit Menlyn Auto before 31 August 2013 for an exclusive insight into motoring history. You will have an opportunity to view this pioneering model alongside the very latest BMWs.

A friend of mine has 2. They are becoming ridiculously priced. I've seen some go for as much 500k. But very interesting little old cars.

When I was a young kid in the early 60's, my dad owned an Isetta.

He sold it when my mom expected the 3rd kid.

I am kicking myself that no-one realized the value of these little cars back then.

I would love to get one at the right price. Though I feel 500k is a bit much for one of those.
Anyways it's worth as much as someone wants to pay for it ;-)
