18" on an e36?

Not sure why, but on my M3, I changed the backs from 235 to the correct 245's on the std 17' wheel & of there were even groceries in the boot the wheel would scrape when I go over bumps or where the road surface was uneven.

Maybe that was specifically on that car I had as it was only on the one side (drivers)??

Subject of many a conversation....BMW deny this though but we all know it's because of fat arse German people and weight distribution...It can be corrected though with thicker rubber top-mounts which are for the E36 but also fit on the E46 too :thumbsup:

I've seen 18'' E36 M3 replicas on an E36, if can do it and dont mind the ride why not, "go big, don't go home"
