135i n55 Starting issue

Hi all some advice needed please....

Saturday my car battery started giving me some issues , i jump started my car drove it around for a bit then i switched off and about 4 hours later i tried starting up again but the battery was dead , got a new battery installed but when i try starting the car it refuses to turn on and just makes a funny sort of sound like its struggling to start or something is not letting the car start....
Got the car towed home .....

i have recently replaced my water pump + thermostat

anyone had this problem before??

Look it differs from car to car. I just did my dads 5 series. I bought oem like for like. And uses rhengold to reflect new battery. The newer cars im not sure

If it was not fitted at a BMW dealer, I would suggest contacting Gert from OBD Worx, he would know if something needs to be done with coding of the new battery and will be able to assist.

I dont think not coding the battery is the issue.

The battery on my 335i died, i just bought a new one and installed it with no issues for a year now.

Perhaps alternator?
