HI Guys,

I require some info regarding the 135i and the 120d... Anything that could help me in a purchase...

135i :
-Is the Convertible more expensive than the hard top?
-Whats your thoughts on buying a 2009 135i Auto? Any Known issues with the boxes?
-Anything to lookout for when buying? Questions that need to be asked?

120d :
-Does it come in convertible?
-Issues with Auto Box?
-Max Torque the Box can handle?
-Known issues with 120d?

i think the convertible will be more expensive because of the mechanics required for the roof to fold and unfold (more production cost), do not think the 120d comes in a convertible, bmw price list for convertibles only has 120i, 125i and 135i.

i stand to be corrected on the above.

have you driven a convertible before? the wind noise takes some getting use to at high speeds (its not bad but you do notice it)

if going the 135i route why not consider a 2010 dct. plus you will still have motor plan till 2015.

Hope this helps, maybe the other members can correct me if i am wrong.

you can check with bmw if there are any comments against the car.

Also consider the fuel factor, the 135i can be quite heavy on fuel, especially when you fall in love with the exhaust tone, you will always want to hear it. :inlove:

All in all both cars are awesome, 135i is an epic car you will love it. i speak from experience.

Good luck with the decision.
