135i brake discs

Hey guys...

Found this sweet 135i for sale....got the vin number and asked BMW to pull the motor plan history. What was quite concerning is that both rear and front discs were replaced at 15000kms and then again at 17000kms. It was noted on the history that the brakes were noisy. Is this a cause for concern? I'm worried the car was abused.

Also if BMW transfer the motor plan into my name successfully does this mean I am safe?

No need to be worried. The discs were probably replaced to get rid of brake squeal. Common problem on x35i models. No matter how you abuse a car, you will not screw up all 4 discs in 2000km driving on normal roads.

First thing I did when I got mine 2 months ago was go over to the dealers to get the MP transferred. It costs just under R1800 to do.

Is it normal for disc change at 15000kms

If they were part of the noise issue then BMW SA authorised their replacement under the MP on both counts. If it's a genuine issue then they will fix it regardless of KMs and wear. I have never had issues with MP claims they are just the best!
