120i E87 2009 Model - Not playing mp3 - Business CD

Hi

I recently purchased a 120i E87 2009 model. And for some reason it does not want to play mp3 CDs. It has an aux input, but cant play mp3? Am I doing something wrong. It is the standard BMW business CD player. Even my 2005 E46 plays mp3's ..... Any Ideas? Should I ask the agents? It is still under motorplan

Please advise if anyone knows

When i purchased my car they told me that only the upgraded "professional" plays MP3's...

misinformation or not i dunno, but sounds pretty ridiculous to me if it's true

- apparently from 07 the business does play MP3's ..so i'd speak to my dealer (check the manual too)

Are you sure the disc you burnt was finalised?

Did you try the same disk in your '05 E46 and your '09 120i?

I'd also be realy suprised if it doesnt play MP3
