Hi guys...
Having a bit of an issue with my E82 120D, but it only happens on a long run, or if there's load on the engine (think aircon on, weight in car and heading uphill at freeway speeds).
Car snaps into Limp mode and jerks when you try and accelerate. If I come to a complete stop and try to drive, I can drive at 10kph,and it won't rev past 1000rpm.
A simple switch off/restart and everything is fine again.
At first I thought it was a 6th gear issue, but after switching to manual and selecting 5th gear for inclines, it still cuts into limp mode.
There's no warning or error lights that come up, and a basic OBD2 reader doesn't pick up any faults or error codes...
Only mod i have on the car is software, but I would assume that its hardware related or an error on one of the sensors.
Does anyone have any clue what the issue may be?
