Good day,

I am new to the fanatics, so excuse me if this is not posted on the right place or something wrong.

I am driving 120d E87 2008, and it is awesome.
The torque is very good, but the problem is I want more.

I am looking to do the Intercooler and the Downpipe at some stage,
but do not know where and I hope someone here can maybe advise
me to where/what.

I am staying in PTA and know about Revotechnik and SAC,
but what about downpipes, and also can I continue with
stock exhaust system or is it needed for me to get a freeflow system?

All the help is appreciated.

Hey bud, on your car the first 2 mods that I'd do are a downpipe and software/remap! Will give you excellent gains and not too heavy on the pocket relatively speaking. If you want to push it a bit further an intercooler upgrade would be something to do. You can stick with just doing downpipe, changing the rest of the exhaust system will be more for sound than any major gains. For software, you can speak to Xcede on the forum as well as a couple of places.(Motronix, SR Speedworx, etc). The downpipe can be done at X-Flow, TMSS, or Powerflow.:coolShake:

Aqesome thanx for the fast reply.

Something I forgot to mention is I have a racechip ultimate installed on it,:praise: And thats why I want to take it further. Would the downpipe provide enough gain?

Downpipe isn't going to give you any major gain, will help the turbo spool up a bit quicker, maybe a couple of NM gain in torque, downpipe mainly helps the turbo operate more efficiently and helps get the heat away quicker. If you could I'd sell the Racechip and do proper software, the gains will be much better!
