congrats sherwin, 12.61 is damn impressive for a fully stripped out car with 1 racing seat....:clap:, just curious what a 4 door e90 will do in full street trim....and please my post is not to cause a war...not many customers are prepared to strip their cars out to run a time,u guys are very passionate about racing bru......:thumbsup:

Hey thanks bra! There's no need to be curious we have all the data. All that was changed was the seats this time, so the total weight saving was 56kg. In other words, my car weighed the same as a coupe with a carbon roof with all it's seats.

56kg gives you 0.1 seconds. We know this because we have tested before seats vs no seats on the same day. Also it's easy to google ET calculators & drop 56kg & see the difference. Thamen ran 12.9 last time there full trim without slicks. & he didn't get a clean run. He would have run around 12.7-12.8 had got another run or 2 in. So the "stripping" gives 0.1. I enjoy doing & I will always go to the track stripped, even when I'm charged. I know it's only 0.1, but to me every 0.1 is important.

I don't believe it. I have proof that a plastic Checkers bag being chased by a ferret, rolled across the line and gave him a lower et.
