I advertised it for R40k neg.Considering some of the other 6N's I've seen on gumtree I don't think my price is thaaaaat bad especially considering the state it was in compared to now.

I've abandoned the idea of lowering it for now,I'm busy with exams at the moment so I haven't had the time to do any work.my rear shocks are buggered properly,the rear is very bouncy and you can feel the car wobble from side to side whenever I hit a bump in the road so I'll need to replace those.i feel I should sell it as is but I will see.

I did change the globes in the back and front but for some reason only half of rear RHS works so I need to check that out.i understand I can't expect the money that I put in back but I'm just hoping I get a decent offer.

Nice choice but factor in your fuel costs aswell, those cars aren't the greatest on fuel. Well except the citi

I hear you..I barely got 550km from a tank with my little 1.6i.i used to have a heavy right foot until I started using almost R109 a day but I've been driving far more economically lately.Also college is about a 10 min drive so I rarely sit in traffic.But like I mentioned to some of the gti forum guys,I really want to put my money into an investment rather than a car.I'm very undecided...

So I decided to do the laminx this morning but my sister took the damn hair dryer:argh:I really wanted to get it done before dubrun but I guess that won't be happening.:nonono:

On a better note my mech has an 02 citi 1.4i for R26k..it has FSH and he has been maintaining the car so he knows what's been done.Tge mileage is sitting on 281XXXkm...I figured if I get at least R35k for my polo I can buy the golf and use the balance to drop in a 2l...still on the fence though.

Yeah I'm just hoping it's just as clean in person,my uncle went and saw it this morning and he says the car is neat inside and out and drives much better than the polo.If i do like it then it's just a matter of moving the polo...let's pray for the best:thumbs:

Just keep in mond what you see on gumtree ain't always what the seller is paid in the end.

I wish they required sellers to state how much they actually were paid for vehicles after advertising.

Yeah id keep the 1.4 in there anyway. Economy is king in a golf. Its not going to be safe at speed anyway.
