Shocks and wheel touching on e46

Hi guys please help I today changed my front shocks for my bmw e46 and now there is some scratching between the rim edge and the shocks

Have you tried turning them off and then on again?

Going to need more details than that...

Like:
- Which E46 is this?
- What suspension was on the car before (regular or sport)
- What shocks did you install in the front?
- Have you made changes to the springs at all in the front and are they reinstalled properly on the new shocks?

Just a (stupid) thought - if you replaced all 4 shocks, did the right wheels go onto the right axles?

if narrow and wides, it could be the problem
