Transmission help!!!!
I have a 99 bmw 323i e36 manual transmission. The other day I was driving and when attempting to shift into 3rd gear my shifter knob broke. When it broke I got stuck half in 3rd and half in neutral. It took me a while to get it back to neutral. Ince I got it into neutral I was thinking it was normal until I tried to downshift to 3rd it now feels like there is a wall blocking it and here and there after attempting to go to 3rd it will seem like all the gears are temporarily blocked then after double clutching the gears will all start working again(unless downshifting to 3rd). Does it sound like I can replace a part in the trans or am i going to need a new transmission? Or is there some kind of manual trans rebuild kit?[Image: 93458a8f4427d9097c76b23373204382.jpg]

Transmission help!!!!
ZF don't open manual boxes and they don't keep parts.

When I had a problem with my manual gearbox a few years ago the only option I had was to replace

Synchros. Labour is expensive not the parts. Unless the gear is broken too. Happened to me but in second gear.
