E36 325I
Hi All,

So i picked up an e36 a few weeks ago. I just cant get enough of these cars.

Its a 95 model 325i manual.
Pretty stock apart from Sunroof, coilovers, 17" wheels and a remus exhaust.

Car looked like a good base to keep me busy and to daily it from time to time as well as give the Golf a break.

The wheels where very aggressive and the car was too low. was pretty much touching on a flat road and not to my liking.

So here are some pics on how she looked when i fetched:

RE: E36 325I
Work i Have done thus far:

Replaced bonnet shocks
Turned up the coil overs to a usable height
changed the wheels to Style 32s (Thanks @Moose for arranging a set of 5)

Suspension was in a bad state and replaced the following:
Front left and right complete control arms
Front left and right control arm bushes
Tie rod & Rack end kit
Front Sway bar end links + bushes

Did wheel alignment back to OEM spec

Car is driving much better now but i suspect the shock mounts are gone as there is clunking noises when i turn the wheel at a stand still. Will need to change those.

Aircon was not working. Refilled the gas and it seems fine now but i think the compressor is on its way as there was some green oil on my floor a few days later.

There is an oil leak from the engine which we discovered once the car was lifted.

Contacted Diago @ABM who arranged the full gasket kit, vanos lines and seals for the tappet cover and intake manifold.
Really good pricing, thanks a mill Diago.

A massive shout out to @Nikhil who has been assisting me all the way. Next steps, the correct parts to order and general crap when i get lost.
He will be doing all the engine work and mods to come TiptoeHammerhead
You a legend brother !!! Ty

RE: E36 325I
Needed some music for my daily 110km commute to work and back so @Firi hocked me up with some decent gear to get me going.

unbeatable pricing from @Firi i must add. Tanks bro Ty

im not a sound guy, just needed something better than what was in the car. Most of the speakers where blown in any case.

Fitted a Kenwood Media Receiver (I only needed bluetooth)
Pioneer mids
2 x Kenwood 10" subs and a star sound Amp that i had from my previous E36

now i have some music when im in the car and it sounds brilliant

Congrats Karsh, the interior looks really clean.. You have a thing for the E36's clearly smile bounce Did you look specifically for a 325i or did you have eye out for a 328i as well? These cars feel very 'raw' by today's standards, which is what I love about them.

Plans to spray the bumpers to body colour? Fencelook

RE: E36 325I
Plans i have for now:

Get it 100% mechanically sorted (@Nikhil Biglol)

fit full Motorsport kit(Front bumper, Rear bumper, side skirts, boot spoiler and the thick door beedings)

Maybe a full blow over spray job as well but it looks fine for its age for now.

Remove the Coilovers and fit a better setup.

and finally a low boost daily setup (@Nikhil Fencelook)

lol i needed an e36 again, was looking for an E36 M3 at first but after looking at the maintenance costs on them i decided to rather get a 325i or a 328i with plans on boosting it.
Problem is that these cars are in such terrible condition and finding a decent one takes some time.

As above, the car will get a full Motorsport kit, until then it will stay black.
