// M Power.
BMW Power.

I don't have an issue with these... except why on earth are there competition versions of SUVs... come up with some other brand or designation for it. Who is going to use these on track for the 1 lap it will take for the brakes to overheat...

I guess it's the same complaint some people (me) had when these things launched.

At first BMW made SUVs, now sport SUVs, now M SUVs. Hell even Maserati now make an SUV.

$$$$$$$$$$ talks.

There'll always be somebody dumb enough to believe their 2.5 ton barge with 600hp can kick it with somebody in a Porsche with 250hp less. Until a corner comes along...

They have all diluted brand and image and everything that made their cars special in the first place in a hunt for sales and money. I for one eagerly await the day SUVs are banned.
Previously owned cars:
2003 Alfa Romeo 147 T-Spark (Navy blue and beige interior)
2006 Alfa Romeo 147 JTD 16v (Silver and beige interior)
2007 BMW Z4M Coupe (Silbergrau and Black Leather)

Side profile of that x5 in that color could pass as a range rover sport

That rear quarter panel looks like a Everest/Fortuner.

It's all about straight line acceleration and performance unfortunately. As said above, these vehicles will not really cut it in a track with proper sports cars which have slightly lower power output. In the sports car world we now live, it's all about tlgp, anti-lag, pops & bangs, all with nice cushy, automatic gearboxes.
They already destroyed the M brand to the degree they needed the competition "standalone brand"... now they are destroying that...
[Image: qEpPGPMl.png]
Let's not forget M sport where even the base models have ///M badges and stickers everywhere, just so that the bmw Marque can add a couple of bucks to the price
BMW's are good. But f###k they're getting boring. Too much of the same.
