F20 1 Series Drivetrain error
Hi guys, please can someone help me.. I have a 2013 116i F20 and have constant issues and now not using the vehicle.. It originally had no power and I kept having to change water. The turbo boost control valve was changed as well as the following components : water pump, solonoid on the side of the turbo, water pump and water pulley but still leaked water until water and oil leaked under the car and I had to change the oil cooler and gearbox oil. After that, the car would still overheat. It is now at a stage where I can drive the car a short distance like really short and it is fine but anything slighter longer then it would jerk and go into drivetrain mode..I took the car last week to a garage and they said that I need to change the O ring and gasket covers, another garage said I need to fix the whole head cylinder and I actually dont know which is the key issue. Please can anyone help
The Peugeot motors on these are disasters and money pits. If it has overheated many times I would believe the head is warped. If it was me I would look for an import motor.

Guys will have more options to share I'm sure.

Replace with a N47 diesel motor.. Our 118i never instilled any confidence in me..
