Would you put these rims on your car?
So I have an E46 in Titan Silber and have a set of E90 194`s in narrow / wide config.

The rimes were buggered and I wanted to refurb them and coat them in a colour called ferric grey.

I sent them out for powder coating but the guys totally stuffed the job. the colour is not what i wanted and im not sure if I should even try fitting them to the car.

There are also a lot of cracks in the clear coat. But aside from that......thoughs on this colour?[Image: 20191011_144228_4583001868.jpg]

It could work if it was a bit darker plus it would look good on your car with the color you have.

I have style 350s for sale, which look great on an E46 imo.

Thanks, but im not into black wheels at all. Thats why I was going for the Ferric Grey.

I currently have 17`s on the car and dont want to upgrade to 18" tyres all round, at the moment.

You'd be far better off with black wheels than the current colour.. Fencelook

Geez they got the colour completely wrong. Get it repainted to the right colour especially if there's cracks in the clear currently and put it on.

The weird thing it that colour was spot on until they put the clear coat on. It was exactly what I wanted and looked amazing. For some reason the clear changed it entirely.

I place out in Boksburg. They gave me my money back so I dont want to slam them on public forum.

Get it redone at Wheel Collision in Edenvale.

They have done Ferric Grey for me previously and got it spot on. You get what you pay for so it's worth the premium.

This is what I got when I had my wheels done. They had just done a repair and repaint on an M4 rim, so apparently this is the same colour as you had wanted. I quite like it![Image: 50eefc84405441d4d8e2061edd2d18fc.jpg]

I DON'T LIKE black wheels......AT ALL

Thats equivalent to taking the PRESTIGE brand of BMW down to the HONDA Crew or Peugot Crew level

IMHO...smart and classy is the way a BMW should be, not gansterized like the other "boy racer" crowd does.

different strokes....etc
