E87 120d abs/wheel speed sensor problem
ABS light on dash came on yesterday. I assume it is one of the abs sensors. Have phoned for prices. BMW wants about R2200 while Goldwagen is about R820. Did not get the name of the Goldwagen part. Masterparts wants R345 for Euromann. Think guy at counter made a mistake and quoted for pad thickness sensor. Any advice as to where to get the right part for the right price. Light is off at the moment. Will of course first clean the offending part and then check it again. Is it possible for the sensor to fail intermittently? Have watched videos how to check with multimeter, so will be doing that soon. Thanks for reading!

RE: E87 120d abs/wheel speed sensor problem
So, checked the wheel speed sensors on my daughter in law's car and found them to be working properly. All lights on the dash are off, including triangle, etc. Maybe lady drivers/manual shift and high heels do not go well together!! omg waitingFencelook

If you have the carly app and license it will help pinpointing issues like that.
Yes the wheel abs/speed/brake wear sensors do fail.

Glad you were able to resolve the issue.
