Tyres for F30 320i LCI
#1
Hi Guys

I need to fit a set of new tires on the F30 , It has to be BMW approved and star rated and everything.
The Tyre size is 225/50/17
These are the options I was given .

Bridgestone Soo1 RSC
Continental Conti Sport contact 5 SSR
Dunlop SP sport Maxx TT ROF
Pirelli Cinturato P7 RSC

I can only choose these , anything else and BMW will have issues with motorplan as I need to have them check on the cars suspension .

Im going to have the dealer replace them .

Which would you choose?

Ordinarily I would take the Bridgestones as thats what it came with from factory , but apparently there are some issues with those tires .

I need it to be comfortable , low noise , and have good wear life.

What would you suggest?

Thanks guys

Bridgestones. Have you looked at Goodyear RF?

These Pirelli Cinturato P7 RSC are pretty good, been using them on a X1 20d, definitely better than dunflop and goodyear

Goodyear RFs have weak sidewalls ...used these and they bubbled on the slightest of potholesHammerhead

Continental or Pirelli, but my preference would lean towards Pirelli.

I have these on my 320i and the ride and hold is excellent.

Thanks so much guys , which one would you say gives the best wear and comfort?

I didn't see a Goodyear Tyre on the list that they had showed me that was approved for my car .
