Alignment Issues
I took advantage of the SuperQuick special of a 3D alignment, wheel balancing and so forth a couple of days ago. paid R170 for 2 cars.

issue that's bothering me:
When I was driving back with the coupe the steering was a bit off towards the left on a straight line, if I put the steering straight, the car pulls / drives to the right.
took it back today, its now on the opposite end, slightly off towards the right now.

is this something I can do myself? to get my steering wheel straight with the wheels, fully aligned. for someone who doesn't give a rats as about things, its okay , but this is annoying me as I drive.

Any ideas on how to do this. Otherwise I will have to go back to SuperQuick (Witkoppen road) again.

Current:
2014 320i F30 - M-Sport (Mrs)
2012 3.0d F25 - M-Sport (Family Wagon)
2005 325ci E46 - M-Sport (Mr)
2003 330ci E46 - Weekend (Mr)

Previous BMWs:
2012 328i F30 - Powerful racy motor
2012 320i E90 - Solid built, disappointing performance
2010 3.0d E70 - Versatile car, strong diesel motor
2004 320i E46 - Built like a tank, superb motor
2003 320i E46 - Money pit, lemon of note

best would be to redo the alignment ...recently got my e46 steering wheel straightened ...was like 1-2 degrees off center Cartel

When I drove the e92 had the same thing happen to me, after they messed it up the second time I drove it like that just cause I was lazy to take it back, up untill it started throwing DSC errors, after the fourth try then the car was back to normal....goodluck though

They supposed to LOCK you Steering wheel in its "Straight position" before setting the allignment..

I had allot of isses with big companies, Wont mentione them, in CPT that could just not get it right

I ended up taking the car to Charl at Tyres and Batteries Fitment Centre in Stikland.

Never looked back.. he got it right first time

Take it elsewhere bru

RE: Alignment Issues
If you drive it for too long with an off-centre steering wheel, the car will eventually throw an error code because it will think the steering angle sensor is uncalibrated. This will show as a big yellow triangle on the cluster and the DSC and ABS will be disabled.

Better to get it fixed.

Nothing comes at a higher price than that which is free.

RE: Alignment Issues
And Minty's is a stone throw away from me.

I think its a better option that PTA, interestingly though my previous alignment was done in PTA it was done perfect (did coming from a meeting at SuperQuick in Centurion....no issues)
