F30 Tyre Change
I am due for a tyre change Thumbdown on the 320i F30 and have been contemplating moving away from the Bridgestone Potenzas 19 inch (Price) and no motor plan to void. I would like to know if anyone has done a similar exercise and can share their experience.

My go to tyre is the Goodyear Eagle F1 AS3. Excellent tyre for its price point

Yup, some guys mentioned suspension/abs errors as a result of non-star rated tyres.

I used Toyo Proxes T1 Sports and they worked well - lasted about 25,000km.

Agree with this. I replaced my Continental SC5 with Nexen SU1 UHP tyres in 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 and the tyres feel great. I was skeptical but actually can advise that the Nexen SU1 is pretty much on point.

I would also go with the Goodyear Eagle F1’s. And they do come in star rated.

Such weak sidewalls though. I have had 3 develop bubbles over time, and 1 actually tore when going over what seemed to be an insignificant pothole.
Far prefer Bridgestones and Michelins. But i must add the Goodyears do have excellent grip on the dry.
