Yatour YT-M06 Question
Hi all,

When installing this unit in my E46, do I have to disconnect the OE CD changer completely to make the Yatour unit work?

Thanks in advance for the help. Thumbs

Very strange, the radio still "talks' to the CD changer, but it is unplugged from the back of the radio, and the Yatour is plugged in in its place ...

Doesn't anyone else use this unit?

I had one in my VW and essentially you are replacing the CD changer for the Yatour, the Head unit still sees a 'cd changer'

RE: Yatour YT-M06 Question
I plugged in the wiring harness provided with the Yatour but it gets no power, the CD changer still has power.

Mystery solved, I got the wrong wiring harness with this unit, so now I need to find someone who has installed one with the correct harness in the trunk of their E46, so that I can modify this harness for the unit to replace my cd changer in the trunk. FencelookFencelookThinkingThinkingThinking

Are there numbers or identifying features on the harness? The only power came from the headunit in my case, i assume your is expected to get power from the OEM changer cable?

RE: Yatour YT-M06 Question
Isn’t it supposed to get power from the head unit? Since you have to plug it in at the back? Because there is two ports you can use
