RE: Where to fit lowering springs in Cape Town?
Autoquip had good guys. No idea what Tyremart is like.

Personally, nowadays I go to Tiger wheel and Tyre at Willowbridge South. I find that usually they not too busy (Autoquip could get super busy), and they do good work. They have good eye for when something is not right. Just now, I had 1 guy selling me rims telling me they are 100% not buckled, but TwT showed me on the machine, that while the rims are 99.5% ok, they not 100% round like a new rim. Seeing is believing. They honest and do good work, which is what I like.

Also, go view their ratings on Google Maps. 4.5 out 5, and then looking at the reviews that are 3 or 4 stars, all them say good with the only complaints I could find, that allegedly they are expensive. To which I say, show me a fitment center with better prices with the same quality work.

Wanted to find out your experience with the springs. Did you change shocks or just springs? Also to what vehicle?

I went for the Eibach springs only. VERY subtle drop. Mainly see the difference over the front wheel. Driving an F22

Didn’t want to sacrifice the ride quality so decided against the H&R kit. Was also too low for me

I actually went from stock to msport. Fitted at supaquick Montague Gardens. Not bad at all. They even adjusted the sensors to clear the errors too.

I paid R1800. They did springs, wheel balancing, toe set everything you would normally do when working on this part of the car. But to just install was R1200.
