320d vs 220d (coupe) vs 420d GC (all auto)
Hi,

I have a mate keen on getting a 2017 220d coupe or a 420d GC.
I told him to rather go for an LCI F30 320d, given that he wants to start a family sometime, and the fact that a 320d can be picked up, used, at a much better price (and better specced) than a similar aged 220d or 420d GC.

Thoughts?

Agreed, best all around has to be the F30 320d. It will also sell easier. Thumbs

Agreed Thumbs LCI F30 320d should also hold its value a bit better than the other two IMO.

Personally I would be partial to the 420d GC. Beautiful looking, more space for "family" orientated luggage.

That is what he said as well.
I just can't get my mind around that price difference (and added weight).

If his heart wants the 4 series let him go for it, if its the head decision than 320d is a no brainer

I would also rather lean towards the 320d because of price difference. As long as it's x20d tbh.

RE: 320d vs 220d (coupe) vs 420d GC (all auto)
420d GC for me, if price is not an issue.

So many F30's on the road, would be nice to have something different.. But if he can stretch to 3.0d money, 330d over 420d GC.

Exes:
10' BMW 335i Motorsport (A) - Alpine White III
