E90 buzzing through speakers
Hi guys,

I've tried searching but getting mixed results.

My car is a 2011 320d. Standard sound system. The moment the radio is turned on this high pitched buzzing starts. Its gone as soon as the radio is turned off. This is with the car tuned on or off.

From what I've seen on other posts its either a bad ground cable, a faulty fuse behind the head unit, software update required or the unit itself needs to be replaced.

Has anyone else resolved this without taking the car to BMW?

Do you perhaps have an aftermarket amp installed in the car?

Hey man this is generally a loose connection at the back of the radio, most cases the aerial cable, pull the radio out, re-seat everything and you should be good to go.

Okay bye

Nothing extra added, sounds like an amp with bad earth would though, except the pitch doesnt change at all when accelerating.
