Airbag Warning Light - Head Restraint
Hi Guys,

Not too sure if there are any other threads pertaining to this issue but would really appreciate some help here.

Almost every single time that I collect my car from the car wash the airbag warning light appears on the dashboard. The first couple of times it appeared I took it to a BMW dealer and they kept on saying that there was nothing wrong with the airbag sensor - all they did was complete a diagnosis and reset the warning light. They couldn't really explain to me what was actually causing the problem.

More recently, every time the warning light appears I plug in my diagnostic tool and the error code reads as follows: "driver active head restraint". Because I don't really know how to fix the problem (all the wiring underneath the seat seems to be fine) i just end up resetting the error code.

It's starting to become a real ball ache now so i would really appreciate some advice on what I can perhaps do to permanently repair the problem.
