Stolen Vehicle
Hi all,

We were involved in an armed robbery Monday evening and they held us up and tied us up and they took my wife's beemer. She has a 320d e90 2011 model. We recovered the vehicle and they stole two front wheels and both keys and the CAS and the ECU what the hell do we do to get everything going.

We still have the battery but I need either two of the same wheels or a set of mags and tires.

Please, could anyone assist with information?

RE: Stolen Vehicle
Sorry to hear about your ordeal. Hope you and your family were not injured in any way.

Insurance should be able to assist. Otherwise, you can source some of the parts you need at a place like MD House.

I definitely wouldn't want the vehicle back, they can scrap it for all I care, after it has been rummaged thru by the criminals filthy paws

RE: Stolen Vehicle
dunno anymore come on guys he is asking for help - not what you would do with the vehicle.

Ok dude if you dont have insurance who should be moving the vehicle to a desired location to repair - then you are not going to start it without the ecu anyhow - and you would move it with a flatbed truck and Im certain they could help with wheels to get it mobile for transportation. Unless one of our kind members has spare wheels to loan you.

If insurance is not involved Im certain most car breakers have those in stock (as the 320d is fairly common) - but expect to pay big monies.

Good luck with getting it back on the road. Thumbs

RE: Stolen Vehicle
Sorry man , Very very lucky to recover the vehicle , did it have a tracker in it?

Your first step would be getting some spare wheels to fit on . Then trying one of the local scrap yards for the locking system complete . Should be fine after that .

RE: Stolen Vehicle
We can get a few okes together and go try match that CAS back his car, should be programmed to his VIN only for now if i am not mistaken.

If it is yours, break some legs when you get it back.

Ok so back the important bit. I have a set of 17 inch mags at home, one 225/40/17 inch tyre though.

If we can get 3 225/40/17 tyres then it can fit the rims and you can use the rimes and tyres to get your car mobile around to do the sorting out of it.

I am willing to let you use the stuff, just shout!

Thanks, Dude, I appreciate it. I'm in the process of buying a set this morning. I'll try to get a photo of it from this guy. there surely must be a number on a sticker that correlates to stickers o codes on my car.
