Hi All,

I am going to def be attending. I have done 2 of these weekends before, one with the Audi Club and one with the Subaru club, and all I can say is that it is amazing weeking of note, and Phakisa as a track rocks.

For the novice track drivers such as myself, the track is exceptionally wide as it is a bike track, so if your expermimenting with handling limits of your car, you have more then enough run of space, so your allowed to make an oops.

The welkom hotel is more then adequate, and caters very nicely for the drinkers amoungs us.

Thank you to the BMW club for organizing, this one is worth it,

Lets try and present a strong club presence and turn this into a nasional meet, would dig to see you all there..

Regards

Leonard

It looks like a pretty awesome track.

Is it the oval there that they use to hold the freestate 500?

I assumed they held there it seeing that there is a high-speed oval there (from the sat photos) and I don't know of any other oval tracks in SA (apart for the gerotek one). And isn't welkom in the freestate?

Sorry it may be possible that I misunderstood your post.

Welkom is in Bloemfontein in the Freestate province.

I think Hotel/guest-houses will be a cheaper option than caravaning.
