Good luck on your search. You might be better off buying a donor car.

Thanks bud..
There is a write off 330i on gumtree for 30k but this time of the year its tough to make time to go see it..

Mtech2's are too common and the aftermarket one i bought off gumtree does not fit well at all Thumbdown

AGREED!!!!Thumbs

The plan was to buy the Write off. But thinking of space and Paying 30k for the car over 3k for the Complete bumper

This is the writeoff
Bumper still looks Ok

30k for that writeoff is not too bad. Try and negotiate them down if possible. At R20-25k that could be a bargain after selling off all the good parts, if you have time. I would love a bunch of parts off that car, but like you...R30k is a lot. Engine alone depending on how good it is, could fetch R15-20k.

12-15K range for the bumper cover only, then add fogs, covers, beadings, mesh, brake ducts ect.

Hence the donor car comment.

RE: E46 Mtech 1 Front bumper Plus Spots
Hi. I'm new at this so please be patient with me. I have a 2003 e46 320d facelift and about 4 days ago the crankshaft summer pulley broke and now I'm looking to replace it. The problem is I know someone with a preface engine and he is willing to me the pulley but I'm not sure if they are the same. He says the engines are the same but I just need to make sure, please help.
Thank you in advance

Well you should have this in a separate thread.

From the pre-FL to the FL 320d, there was a technical update to the M47 engine. Just not sure if that would have made a change to the pulley, and/or if that is your only problem.

ps. Also post an introduction thread, the guys will want that before some will help you out.

Go onto http://www.etkbmw.com
enter in your last 7 digits of your Vin and go to the ENGINE option and look for the pully.

There is an option to view compatible models... Check if his model is there

PS: Start a thread for this
