Good day,

The Diesel engines are so expensive to do the Carbon Clean on that customers don't accept the quotes and therefor we do not have much experience on these vehicles. So for now, we unfortunately don't have any specials.

RE: Carbon Clean Special
if you don't mind me asking why is the diesel engine so expensive to carbon clean? I would imagine that a diesel engine would have massive carbon build up due to it also being direct injection and the fact that that they recirculate the fumes back into the engine.

Good day,

This vehicle is not direct injection and therefor will not have any carbon build up.

The build up on the diesel is actually a lot less than the petrol vehicles. We have looked at a few and build up is minor in comparison. The higher boost actually reduces the build up.

It is expensive due to the labour involved and the risk is too high as we have to strip the fuel rail/lines out and injector damage is possible.

Carbon Cleaning is maintenance and at your mileage it is definitely needed. You can book with any of our branches. The clean will take 5-6 hrs and the price is R 2 500 on special now.
