ZF Automatic Transmission - Oil Change Special

Exclusive special for the BMW Fanatics
Valid from July to August 2017

Due to high demand from customers on an Oil Service Special, ZF will launch the special for July 2017. It will start today (3 July 2017), until august 2017.

The first 5 persons per region/branch (Johannesburg/Cape Town/Durban) that reply to this thread with their name, region and vehicle type will get a special price of R3000 excl VAT. (6speed or 8speed ZF transmission service, same price of R3000 excl VAT)


After this the normal special price will be as follow:

6 Speed ZF transmission oil change. (Service kit)
- New sump/filter. (1 piece)
- New wiring loom harness sleeve.
- ZF Lifeguard 6 oil.
R3 440 excl VAT

8 Speed ZF transmission oil change. (Service kit)
-New sump/filter. (1 piece)
-New wiring harness sleeve.
-ZF Lifeguard 8 oil.
R3870 excl VAT

This special will be available at ZF Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.

Terms and conditions:

ZF will check the transmission adaption values and oil quality prior to doing the service, if the adaption values are found to be out of spec and the oil quality is not satisfactory we will advise the customer not to do an oil change

What does the bold underlined part mean?? I would have thought that if the oil was out of spec thats a good reason to change it??

good day Sir. the adaption is how much wear is on the clutch packs in the transmission. we have a look at the oil as well, if it is burnt or has metal particles we will advise against the oil change
