GP Thunder Bulbs
Hey Guys

I have been looking at getting pure white light bulbs for my fog lights to match the xenons, to get that sexy matching aesthetics going.

My Choice came down to two products:

1 - Philips HB4 led conversion kit which retails locally for about R 1 300
but you know you are getting top quality and a bulb that will last.
http://www.usa.philips.com/c-p/78719719/...d-fog-lamp

or

2 - GP THUNDER 7500K 9007 SUPERWHITE 13 Dollars, so about R 170
https://www.e92-lighting.com/gp-thunder-...uperwhite/

So after a few good reviews of the GP thunders, i might give them a go, and get them for the fogs, as well as the angel eyes.

Any one know if they are sold locally, or anyone know who can bring them in for me?

RE: GP Thunder Bulbs
I am in the same boat, looking for HB4 as well because my car has come with the 9012 HIR2 Philips bulbs and trying to find the LED kit for that was difficult. Went to 4x4 Megaworld and test fitted an HB4 into the housing and it worked well.

Just to get the kit now

Current:
2016 Ice White Hyundai ix35 R2.0 CRDi Elite
2011 Mercedes-Benz C250 CDi BE Avantgarde
2008 Silverbird Grey VW Polo 1.4i Trendline

Gone but never forgotten:
2010 Titanium Silver BMW 320d Exclusive E90 LCi
2008 Stratosgrau Stratos Grey BMW 320i Individual E90

RE: GP Thunder Bulbs
I bought these for my angel eyes:

https://www.e92-lighting.com/gp-thunder-...-white-v2/

I prefer these to the LED bulbs i tried. They have a slight greenish look but i like it.
Cant really show this on a pic. It shows white when i take a pic of it.

Only issue is the shipping from http://www.e92-lighting.com. It took 3 months to deliver. The tracking number they give is pointless. Only shows left and received. Got to a point where i just took it as i lost the money.

They are available locally for around R850 a set.

they look good. that's quite a profit margin they slapping on them, as they cost max 15 dollars in the states.

those prices are just ridiculous! Skit

rather by Philips diamond vision for R380 or just put R300 more and buy the philips led kit

RE: GP Thunder Bulbs
I had GP Thunders on my E92, they worked fine and a cost effective solution to replacing those ugly stock amber bulbs. They were not LED, but just a white colour. Bought them from an advert on Gumtree, price is irrelevant as it was 5 years ago, paid R400.
