Postponed to 2014: BMW Fanatics Treasure Hunt

Hi Fanatics,

From HERE, this event is now confirmed.

Details:
Date - 17 November 2013
Time - 10am Sharp (Cars will leave in groups with a delay between each car) First car to leave at 10:30am sharp!
Start Point - Shell Ultra City N1 (At the Samrand Road offramp onroute to JHB from PTA)

POA:
You will be travelling for approx 90km in various directions in and around Johannesburg. We have driven the route and planned some tasks, hidden a clue or two and even set some riddles. I am sure you guys will have a lot of fun. Remember, ITS NOT A RACE!!! Every stop is in a safe location, we will not send you into unsafe area's.

What you will need:
1. Vehicle
2. Driver
3. Navigator
4. Camera (on your phone is fine)
5. R20 cash - This will be used on your route as one of the tasks

Prizes:
1st Prize - AC Shnitzer (Auto) Pedal set and front and rear matching badges to the value of R1000 from Project Shift Racing

2nd Prize - R500 voucher at Speedway

3rd Prize - R200 voucher at Ocean Basket Chilli Lane

Great initiative guys and massive kudos to all the organisers for putting in the groundwork to ensure a smooth event. Had the fortunate pleasure of spotting the guys on their mission last night and stopped for a quick chat.

Question, if it is not a race, how is the 1 st place etc going to be judged?

Sash... points will be allocated to each task.

The rules will be briefed at the start point. If we post them up now it will give away a lot.

The points is just one of the few ways we will measure.

Guy, Just a little bit of info. We are not limiting this to BMW cars only. If you are a fanatic and want to join, you more than welcome to in whatever car you drive.

However, just be weary of the prizes! :thumbs:
