Parting is such great sorrow

Hi Guys I am new to this forum.
I presently own and drive a schnitzer spec silver 2001 740i that I have owned since 2009. Best drivers car I have ever bought.

Soon after I purchased it I spent quite a bit on the car upgrading engine components exhaust, intake and computer to improve performance and economy. Successfully bringing the car up to modern economy spec Averaging between 11 & 12 L per 100Km if I drive normally and getting even better economy if I hit the open road.

Performance wise we managed to get the old lady really growling and she keeps up with any modern super hatch up to 100km/h and totally kills most everything over 100km/h. She realy sounds like monster when you open her up, "Mercedes AMG Black look out!"

To get the looks to match the performance I added sexy 21" rims and a paint and panel refurbishment to make it look like new. I personally designed and had a new set of tail pipes made up. To completed the look I finished the panel between the roof gutters in black so that it appears that the entire roof is one continuous glass panel.

The final result is very pleasing as the car appears somewhat sportier and more compact than normal. As one of my friends put it when he first saw the car completed "is that a small version of the 7 series?"

Anyway I have hit a rough patch financially as I have been working on the same startup venture for four years now. Our project is aimed at developing a solution to prevent Identity and Privacy abuse and you would think that in a world that needs it so much we would have supportes and potential clients breaking down the door to use our solution, but we just don't seem to catch a break on acquiring the requisite commercialisation capital. Anyway to cut a long story short I need to sell my 740 to get some survival funds into my household. I hate to have to do this as I love my car and she has been good to me, but a manmust do what a man must do, so if you know of someone looking for a sexy piece of retro luxury please let me know as I need to find her a good home.
If anyone is interested I have had the car serviced and all the work done by Zeemax in Cape Town.
