the doors and rear shelf look fully OEM....


sound wise... a lot of bass enters the car with no hassle... i'm using a 15" in my 320... and the Low FQ.... is amazing... it hits hard and nice... for both the 12" and 15"....

hi guys,

I just got my self some new Targa Tweeters, I have connected then to my amp, I just want to find out what is the best way to tune them?

I was told to make sure they go from the Amp to the crossover then the tweeter I was assured to make sure I don't skip the crossover that came std in the box

I have connected like told but how should I tune my amp for my tweeter?
HPF or LPF or Full??? I just want the tweeter to do its job with out any distorting?

I am afraid if you dont know the answer to your question, you should not be tinkering with the sound in your car.

I assume you do not know what the HPF, LPF and Full refer to? Have you connected any other electronic equipment in this vehicle?

Tuning tweeters or any speaker is best done using proper equipment, if not it is done using the ears and what sounds best to you.

P.S. i recommend you start your own threads when it is not related to your situation.

sorry I did not know that,
I have created my own thread,
Lol yeah I have connected a sub only.... and recently bought tweeters
high pass and low pass but that's as far as I know...
can you explain they actually mean and do??

That looks tidy. Is that a "free air" sub? How do you not need it's own enclosure?

serious as heck, you can do it in less.... just be armed with a decent jigsaw, fresh blade, decent drill, relevant bolts, washers, and you can do it in 2 hours...

hehehehe.... this JL is not a free air sub... but I've done sooo much of mucking around in my car, so we said give it a try...

remember MKV already had this sub, so hence we went with it...

this car has an Alpine Headunit, standard fitment, with bezel etc.... my 320i has Factory OEM Business Headunit....
