335i Steptronic Fuel Consumption

Hi Fanatics

Just want to get some opinions from 335i owners about their fuel consumption, under normal and aggressive driving, mostly from
the steptronic owners?

agressive = expensive.... but this can be said of any car..

Long distance at cruising speed, shes as light as a 320i....

I get an average of 12.5l/100km under normal driving. If my foot gets a bit heavy it can go up to 15.5l/100km:thumbs:

Hey Dmonic, thanks, your ride is wicked. Is your car steptronic? How is it to drive in stop/start traffic situations, does it drink more fuel in this situation?

stock my 335 steptronic does 11L per 100 at 130km/h on highway ave.

With jb4 on map5 at 130km/h cruize control 9L per 100km.

In town 12l to 16L depends on driving style.

Yup, Steptronic.
Stop/Start is very bad in relation to normal driving. i get abt 12.5l/100km (this is not V8 bad BTW)
OPen road - 7.5 - 8.5 on trips to Dbn abt 140kph...

Not steptronic, but stock around 12.2l/100km.
Thats normal driving. Highway driving comes down to around 10.8.

Thanks, yeah it sounds reasonable, my E46 320i Step. used to average 13l/100km lol :rollsmile: but that was because of my right foot as the car thrived on being revved.

Guess open road driving will lower the average quite abit.

Consumption sounds reasonable, for such a powerful motor definitely not V8 bad.
