Breakfast Run on 4 Sept

A big breakfast run is due. Its happening on Sunday 4 Sept.

We haven't finalized a route yet but it will be of 3 choices:
1) Strand/Hermanus direction. (We havnt been to Hermanus yet, we'll see whales)
2) Southern Suburbs (Ou Kaapse weg, Kommetjie, Simons Town.)
3) Langebaan (via Malmesbury and Darling)

Please select on the Poll which 1 you would like. The Poll will close next week Monday (15 Aug)

Keep checking this thread for the latest update/s.

Meet at McDonald's N1 City at 8:30 for 9am

i honestly think that the hermanus drive along the mountain via gordons bay would be awesome if we had great weather for that day... very very scenic drive

Here's the routes. Please note the km reading is one way:

My 1st choice is Hermanus. I last went was in Nov, with the ZoopedUp breakfast run. It was pissing with rain

Hermanus (141km):

Langebaan (est 152km):

Simons Town (est 76km):

Thanks Carbon. I think the langebaan route is a little boring. I like the look of the simons town one.

We can make the runs shorter, like end at Betty's Bay.

Yeah, the Langebaan area is boring. There's nothing out that way to go to that's exciting. Its just that we havnt been that side for a run except when its Saldahna drags

The furtherest we will go is the current planned routes.

I like the Betty's bay Idea. I haven't been there in years though.

The last time I went on a run to Hermanus was with them and it was a brilliant day out.
