Long overdue...

In 2024 we were on the hunt for M340i.

Had an appointment to view 1 in Pretoria and called up a dealer/friend to keep a look out.

He subsequently told of an F80 for sale and said he will forward the number, but the car is being traded in as we speak.

Once he sent the details, I realised it's a good client of both Rennzport and Dimensions, and we had just done his wife's X3 20d.

I gave him a call, and he confirmed the car was already at the dealership whom he was trading it in with. I subsequently asked to please get it back as I want to view it and we made a plan to view it the next evening.

One test drive and we knew it was the one. Still smelt new, indicator stalk still had the new texture on it and the car presented very well.

The rest is history....

First @KarshS and now you Firi. You guys are the reason I find myself looking at F80s on autotrader :) :) :) .

Congrats Firi, looks absolutely awesome. Can never go wrong with Silverstone. Can't wait to see what you have planned for her

LMAO, guys please take care of these, some of us might be shopping in a few years if we can convince our significant others that a 600hp modded super saloon is *UTTERLY* essential.

First up....removal of the carbon boot spoiler from the car. The clear coat had a little failure, and I wanted to try something else.

Absolutely hate it when installers and dealers yes BMW dealers, use as much sikafix as they can to mount accessories.

Patience, caramel wheel, APC, experience and being very careful not to burn your paint is what required to get done.

After removal, clean up the mess, followed polishing and prepping the boot for the a new spoiler.
