I specifically went for this ,and not the RR, because of the riding position which is more comfortable for touring. Compared to the Ducati , this is on another level , the technology , features , power delivery and handling is amazing. It has as much tech and features that a new BMW car has .... it just does everything so well. Nothing beats a Ducati for looks and sound ( IMO ) ...... but nothing comes close to this bike which , although clinical , does everything so well. With all the features this bike has and the carbon fibre wheels .......this is definately a special bike

I have always liked the idea of an S1000R as a commuter and would love to own one.
However at this point I often find myself wondering how much longer I will continue to commute on a bike and when I might stop riding - mostly due to safety concerns.

Yes , still have the Touring .... only gets used on weekends if I'm not riding my bike 😎
