Thats sad. I changed dealerships afterwards.
Now go to the nearest dealership.

I am interested in this topic because I have the same dilemma - I know a few of the trusted techs had also left - I am out of date with the crew at JSN since it became so easy to work with Vash and Deago just down the road. Maybe @deago.parts@abmbmw can help us with details?

So, now that Vash is no longer there, who is the “trusted” SA to go to?

I’ve been using JSN ( BMW Bryanston ) for many years now and I have not had any issues. Great service and good pricing from Umesh in parts.

+1

I moved to JSN after Vash left and it's way more convenient for me but also the service is great.

I just go to Midrand now to get parts from Deago or to service the Mini.

I have also since moved to BMW Cedar, Theo there is super helpful and does give discounts where he can - though not as cost effective as Midrand was. However, Cedar is literally on my way home, so its super convenient for me

Bought my X5 at JSN and had many empty promises from Avin who made me lose confidence in JSN.
Went to Isando BMW and battled to get a proof of service done since November. Dealer principle(Kevin) was copied in and never responded.

Eventually took my services to Midrand and Clyde Kemp was very helpful.

So unfortunate that service/ customer service of BMW is so low and deteriorating the brand(in my opinion)

Service at BMW Northcliff, haven't had issues in 6 years.

Never buy there though, Centurion and Fountains Circle sales people are amazing!

I deal with BMW Sandton now and then for my Recon BMW's at work - nice bunch of people and every fast at helping.
Otherwise Marc at BMW the Glen for Parts is great and the workshop manager there is very hands on.

Thanks for the comments guys. I’ll definitely stay with Deago as his service is brilliant, but will go back to JSN for servicing (assuming Viz is still there).

Open to correction but I think if you are a paid up BMW Club Gauteng Member, you get special discounts on certain items?

The aftersales service at BMW Sandton is really good (the 357 team have contacts there).

Just the used car sales experience could be improved....

I'm not taking any of my bmw back to bmw midrand. Maybe Deago was having an off day. Just found him quite unhelpful. Been waiting since November for a car cover quote. Called twice for a price.

Also when I bought then mpe exhaust for the m5 the customer rep I was with actually apologized at how rude deago was to me and him.

That on top of fitting the wrong tyres and installing my exhaust wonky.

Please get in touch with Gorilla car covers, you supply them with your car dimensions and they make it to your custom specifications, they also have indoor or waterproof covers and can print a graphic or livery on your cover.

The M Performance cover is not plain, but also not as detailed as the Gorilla ones can be. It is, however, also much cheaper. I would try to get one from a different dealer. These are old pics but what I had on hand. The kidneys, M performance logos and M stripes are printed.
