Easy STEPS to create your signature:

1. Go to your user profile an click on SIGNATURE.



2. Then click on the icon "insert image".



3. To insert an image you have to create an URL of your image. I use this free tool to create a BBCode URL from my image: BBCode0.com
Please note, you can use any free software of your choice.



4. Upload from your PC your chosen Signature image into the BBCode.com software by clicking on "Select a File"




5. Once you have uploaded your image into the BBcode software you can resize the image at the bottom to your preference and then click "UPLOAD"



6. Choose the first (viewer link) and copy the URL over to your SIGNATURE URL and click INSERT.





7. Then you can resize the image after it appears by clicking on the image and dragging the image cursor inwards to a reasonable size. Press SAVE.

Because it has gone missing 3 times now and I have had to replace it each time. as far as I know HTML doesn't delete itself. so I can only assume someone is messing around with my signature. Also the links that used to point to my two build threads also no longer work and just appear as text now.

Why you assume the mods deleted your signature?

Likely because of the assumption that the moderators have nothing better to do that target his signature/details only, in and amongst everything else going on in the world.

I reloaded it again last night, the pic is now showing again however the links no longer work and the button to create a link no longer exists so I am not sure how to correct that issue? I will check again quick to see if the link button has returned as I did try two different browsers and it wasn't there.

yup just checked the only button available in the signature section is add image. all other functions are no longer present.

Cool... Let me try to fix it this eve. Generally since the move from the old forum to new platform we still have some permmission gremlins which were not automatically carried over from the previous platform. We have picked that up... Same issue like @General.Massacre who struggled to load images in one of his older threads.

I had the same happen a few times and just didn't do it again for the threads. @Twinz it is likely some cleanup process that is automatically run by a bot/service on the platform to remove links periodically.

Osiris, it should be sorted now... Sorry for that inconvenience... I can now understand why it was frustrating. The permissions for your usergroup were automatically carried over (inherited) from the mybb setup and the new options should have been activated on the new platform. Apologies.
