Properly done Bruce! Well done.

I took a shortcut and bought my brothers E46 M3 race car...

Now also busy with a few small changes to it...

RE: E46 3.2 M3 Wide Body Project
Hi Guys...

Sorry for the delayed reply

Yes I've finally scratched that itch...always wanted the S54 for track use and I figured its easier to buy a built car then to try and fit the engine to my E36.

I will definitely be on track next year...whether I will be racing or just time trailing I am not sure yet...time will tell I guess.

Looking forward to this new journey!

All the welding and mock up has been done. We have even converted to a single wiper. Now to strip it down and spray it. Then the wide body kit.[Image: img_0155_5523021528.jpg][Image: img_0157_4465757808.jpg][Image: img_0158_7200108310.jpg][Image: img_0159_8307457631.jpg][Image: img_0160_7438277755.jpg][Image: img_0161_9471256928.jpg]

I see a custom pillow ball shifter there. Fencelook

Thought of building my own too as the AKG shifter is stupid expensive!

RE: E46 3.2 M3 Wide Body Project
Last bit of test fitting isbeing done with the rear brakes that have finally arrived. The disc on the floor is the standard e36 M3 brake disc t give you a comparison.

On Monday she goes in for spray painting and then in around a weeks time she will go in for the wide body kit which will take around 2 weeks to fit.

Its getting close now!! =)

Been a slow start to the year but we are on the home stretch now.....Base coat/rust protection has been done. It is currently getting the wide body panels and carbon fiber roof etc fitted.
