BMW Fanatics Treasure Hunt + Picnic

Hi Fanatics,

Please keep the 17th of November 2013 available for a fun filled, family day.

Myself and Colin aka herrbmw are still to finalize the finer details but the date so far is set for the 17th of November 2013. Cars and Coffee - South is still on the cards for the 9th of November.

We are planning a Treasure hunt, you will need your car, a camera and a navigator. Perfect to have the wife or friend to navigate. No limit to the amount of passengers.

The route will be around 100km to 150km. Route and end point will only be available on the day at the first meeting spot (Start). There will be tasks and challenges along the route.

A minimum and maximum time will set. So its not about how fast you drive. Remember, we using public roads so the normal laws of the road will apply.

End point will be at a park where we will settle for a picnic, at each persons own cost. Basically, you bring what you want to eat and sit on.

We might add a small cost to this event, to cover some costs. The money collected will be used for consumables used on the day should there be any. Any additional monies will be deposited into the BMW fanatics bank account where it will be used for future events.

Myself and Colin will update this as soon as we meet and set the route. But please keep the 17th of November available. Depending on the response, we will set cars out in groups so each has a fair chance. If there are any other members/mods/admin who would like to assist us, we would appreciate it. We require 2 more people at minimum.

Their might be prizes, if any of the Advertisers would like to sponsor prizes, please PM me and discuss.

i did this type of event when i had a beetle and we were about 50 cars,it was one hell of a fun event,not just for me and my buddie that navigated but for all those that brought there wifes and children with,afterwards we all had a massive picnic/braai and relaxedand got to know each other better.

so guys,please keep the 17th november open for an exciting fun filled day out

Cars and Coffee will be in the South on the 9th of November.

Treasure hunt will be on the 17th November.

Seems like fun, would try my best to attend.

This will be an awesome event. I've done similar ones before and you guys don't realise how much FUN it is.
