Yup, so I finally got the Motorsport Style 66 Rims refurbed. Went to Zaki from Wheel Worx (Sponsor) and he did a sterling job. Thanks Zaki! I unfortunately don't have the right wheel sizes on for this set at the mo, as I'm trying to run off these tyres, but the Hankooks on here don't look too bad. Some pics below.

Wow! Those wheels really work nicely on your car!!! Not too bad tyre stretch - could always eventually get the right size for the rears and then you still have a spare for the front if that makes sense... Awesome job as always Zaki!!

Hey guys. So just days after I fitted these bad-boys back on the car, I realised there was some bulging on one of the rear tyres. Did not look good, so i went to TWT and they removed the tyre from the rim for me, only to discover that one area of the tyre had been badly damaged where you could see the beading through a "hole" in the inner rim rubber. So I went back to Wheel Worx to discuss the matter. Zaki agreed that it could have been poor fitting of the tyre on his end, and offered to replace the tyre. Unfortunately this meant paying a 50% pro rata on the used rubber (50% tread wear), so I would have to pay close to R1000 for a new tyre I never needed or wanted. Zaki had a set of Bridgstones with around the same thread as the hankooks, and I evetually decided to just go with that. So now I have Hankooks in the front and Bridgies in the rear, and niether of them are the right size...

Damm, that's frustrating!!! How much tread on the front Hankooks?

That V8 will just have to eat those Bridgestones chop chop! :fencelook:
