A friend of mine told me a while ago that he was going to buy one of these M3s fitted with an Ess Supercharger on it. He drive the car and was very impressed. The guy I think the only road going E30 that is faster than mine, a 500hp 2jzgte powered drift Sourer and a few other cars.

One Saturday I met him at Budler Motorsport, and he came there with the M3. Firstly the sound I could hear something comming up the road. The sound wasn't as deep as a C63 etc, but you could hear that it was no ordinary M3. This could be due to the (Acropovic exuast sp)

The look of the car is still exactly the same as Stock. I didnt take any pictures of the engine bay but it looks like this

The car has 20 inch Wheels with Big Brembo's that don't look out of place.

It has the best race seat that I had the pleasure of resting my butt in. Sorry for the crap quality pics

Driving the car pottering around it very very similar to a stock M3, infact I don't think there's any power difference below 5000 rpm. Eventually I find an empty stretch of road. I keep the rpm @ 3500 rpm and floor it., It starts acceleration but at high rpm holds back badly like the tuning isn't lekker. I then realise that the traction control is on. I stop the car and turn it off and basically floor it from stand still. The car doesn't move but revs up to about 3000 rpm and dumps the clutch, these wheels light up like its on ice the revs are stuck on 8200 rpm and the cars maybe doing 3 km/h with a fair amount of tyre smoke :D.
I pull back on the leaver on the steering to engage 2nd gear, and again its just more smoke from and tyres and very little accelerating forward. I then lift my foot slightly from the floor and the cars starts accelerating, hook 3rd and the back ends squirms around while accelerating quite rapidly now. Forth gear is where you can feel the car accelerate now that the wheel-spin is over, It pulls hard into the limiter and I tap off. My E30 on low boost will have to work hard to keep up with it. C63's (in stock form ) rs4's or basically anything non exotic will have a hard time keeping up.

The supercharged car is what the new m3 should have been. The power band suites the cars characteristics to the tee. Even pushing the cars into a corner, its very neutral until 5000 rpm and then you can hold a power-slide like a boss :D

I don't know about this car, but Sherwin from Xcede also has a ESS supercharged M3 and stock/modded C63's, rs4's or non exotics aren't even in the same league as his cab.
